Our Story

The beginning.

The project started in fall of 2021 with just an idea, an idea of digital freedom. This is a story of how the internet brought a group of people who have never met each other who were able to achieve the unthinkable by overcoming hardships, persevering when big companies said what we planned out to do was "simply impossible", being turned down by investors who are now begging us to take their money and being told by big fin-tech company CEOs and COOs to give up and get a job.

This is the story of Zahnymous.

At first Zahnymous was imagined to be a neo-bank, allowing people digital freedom over assets that should be able to be exchanged and traded without any central organisation. The beginning was tough. Due to harsh regulations and overall skepticism of a few "kids" trying to achieve the unachievable.

In the upcoming months of winter 2021 we had our first seed investment of approximately 75,000 USD to make this dream a reality, as a young and indefatigable team, we were excited and ready to conquer the world. Then reality set in, we have this large sum of money but no true and bespoke technology built just yet. So here is where our story really begins.

In the beginning of 2022 Zahnymous was aiming to have its first ever decentralised credit card backed by Mastercard and VISA, there were meetings set up and some were successful and some were terrible and after burning many bridges, forming new relationships, diving into many rabbit holes for weeks and even months on end, we finally have come to another harsh reality that getting a decentralised credit card just isn't possible. With regulations being changed bi-monthly around crypto, market fluctuations, we understood the risk and gamble these companies were taking with us but that didn't help our faith being drained away day by day. With 18 hour work days, eating, breathing and sleeping Zahnymous we knew that if we didn't change our approach. The project would sink lower than our already low self-esteems.

So after a lengthy 4 hour discussion with the team we decided to pivot Zahnymous in a new direction and that's when things changed and started moving really fast. Partnerships came flying in and we needed to expand our team to meet the needs of our growth. We now have an amazing legal and development team that work hand in hand to help develop our technology that allows Zahnymous to be used in the real world. We aren't just a token that can be traded on PancakeSwap but now Zahnymous with its bespoke underlying technology, we are able to allow our token ZAH to be traded for real world assets. No more going through centralised exchanges to be able to use a token in the real world. You can now do it straight from our platform. Now what's the point of this story you're asking?
